Private beta product

GoBooks is currently being tested with South African SMMEs in a controlled private beta. Features may change, some workflows may be limited, and you should report any issue that affects real business records.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of business information, customer details, VAT settings, banking details, invoice and quote content, uploaded files, and records entered into GoBooks.

Not professional advice

GoBooks helps with daily business administration. It does not replace professional tax, legal, financial, or accounting advice. Confirm important decisions with your accountant or advisor.

Acceptable use

Do not use GoBooks to process unlawful transactions, upload harmful files, attempt to access another organisation's data, or interfere with the service.

AI-generated drafts

AI Copilot responses and assistant outputs are draft suggestions only. They must not be treated as official accounting, tax, legal, financial, SARS, CIPC, or funding advice. Review all summaries, explanations, messages, and descriptions before using them.

SARS, CIPC, and funding readiness

GoBooks prepares packs and summaries for manual submission, accountant review, or application support. GoBooks does not submit directly to SARS, CIPC, or funders.

Data protection and support

You must not share passwords or unauthorised access. If you believe your account, company data, documents, or banking records are exposed or incorrect, contact support promptly.

Availability and changes

GoBooks may update, pause, or remove features during early access. We aim to avoid disruption, but early access use should not be treated as a guaranteed production service.

Important

GoBooks is not a registered accounting, tax, legal, or financial advisory firm. Please confirm official submissions and compliance decisions with a qualified professional. For private beta support, email support@gobooks.co.za.
